JULY 1ST - JULY 15TH 2023
15 DAYS & 14 NIGHTS
DAY 1: Arrival
SATURDAY, JULY 1ST
Arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana. Transfer to hotel to be welcomed by Sekou Nkrumah Chairman of the Pan-African Improvement Association.

DAY 2: Walking Tour of Gamashie The Old Town Ship of Accra the Capital.
SUNDAY, JULY 2ND
We will visit the Brazil House which was built by Africans once enslaved in Brazil that led a slave revolt in Salvador and Bahia 1835 and Repatriated to Ghana.

DAY 3: Accra-Kumasi
Ashanti Region
MONDAY , JULY 3RD
We will leave after breakfast on a five-hour trip to the Ashanti Kingdom to visit Prempe II Museum, The Military Museum, and Okomfo Anokye Sword Site (a legendary sword, which is said to have been driven into the ground over 300 years ago by the traditional priest.) Overnight stay in Kumasi.

DAY 4: Kumasi-Cape
Cost-Elmina
TUESDAY, JULY 4TH
After breakfast, we will drive to Bonwire home of the colorful world famous Kente Cloth woven on traditional looms. We will continue to travel to Elmina and Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. We will stop over at Assin Manso by the river where Donkusuo African captives have their last bath before being taken to Elmina and Cape Coast European slave dungeons. We will continue to Elmina and Cape Coast. On arrival there would be a guided tour of Cape Coast and Elmina Castles. These slave dungeons were built by the early European slave raiders. These dungeons and forts are the historical link between West Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and the Americas, which is infamously named the triangular trade. Africans transported to slave plantations in the Western Hemisphere were made to forget about this experience including the dungeons which were torture chambers of African captives before they were exported through the “Door Of No Return.” Overnight stay at One Africa Guest House and Health Resort in Iture Elmina.

DAY 5: Cape Coast - Elmina
Kakum Forest - Accra
WEDNESDAY, JULY 5TH
After breakfast at Elmina One Africa Guest House. We will leave the hotel to the Kakum National Park which has fascinating herbal medicinal plants and trees. After lunch, we will travel back to Accra to stay overnight.

DAY 6: Accra Full Day City
Sight Seeing
THURSDAY, JULY 6TH
Our visit will take us to the home of W.E.B. DuBois which is now named the W.E.B. DuBois Center for Pan-African Culture. Afterwards, we visit George Padmore Library, the Great Pan-Africanist born in Trinidad who was appointed by Kwame Nkrumah as his advisor on African Affairs. We will continue to the Osu Christianburg Castle, Asomtwe Park through to the Independence Square to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum for a guided tour and finally to the Makola Market—the city’s traditional market where we will experience a typical African Market. Over Night Accra.





DAY 7: Conversation with Sekou
FRIDAY, JULY 7TH
Lunch and conversation with Sekou Nkrumah on the history of the Repatriation and Pan-African Movements.

DAY 8: Nightlife in Accra
SATURDAY, JULY 8TH
We will begin with Beach Fun At La Beach and nightlife and the party scene in Accra




DAY 9: Accra - Akosombo
SUNDAY, JULY 9TH
We will leave the hotel after breakfast and travel North East to Akosombo.We will drive past The Kloyo Mountains and Shai Hills arriving on time to board the Mv Dodi Princes for a cruise on the Volta Lake one of the greatest land marks of Ghana. Lunch will be provided aboard the cruise with music by a live band. There will be an overnight stay in Accra.





DAY 10: Accra-Aburi
MONDAY, JULY 10TH
We depart Accra via the University of Ghana campus with a short stop at the African Studies Department and the campus bookstore. We will then continue to Aburi Wood Carving Market and afterwards move on to Aburi Botanical Gardens and enjoy a relaxing walk through the vast trees, flowers and plant life of the Botanical Gardens.




DAY 11: Diaspora Traditional Welcome Durba with Otublohum Cultural Center in Accra.
TUESDAY, JULY 11TH
Otublohum is part of the Seven Clans that form the Ga State. Otublohum is made of three( 3 ) Quarters. They are Atifi, Dadeban Naa and Tabon.Otublohum Atifi is the Head of Otublohum, all the three quarters of Otublohum are from difrent areas and have integrated, welded together as one people.
The Otublohum Cultural Center was established to showcase the Otublohum Cultural, Historical Heritage, to bring the people of Otublohum together, open the path to traditionally integrate with persons from the African Diaspora, Promote African Music, Art, Craft and Tourism. Traditional prayers said during national celebration, the Palanquin stool of Otublohum is mentioned Three times before the end of the prayer to show appreciation to the people of Otublohum.





DAY 12: Tema's Harbor
WEDNESDAY, JULY 12TH
Our tour will then take a drive to visit Tema’s harbor view, and then take a drive through Tema beach road via Nungua, Teshie, LA, Osu, and stop at the art center for African cloth, wood carvings, drums and souvenirs.

DAY 13: Traditional Naming Ceremony
THURSDAY, JULY 13TH
Traditional naming ceremony for those africans on the tour who would like to receive an African Name (This tour feature is optional)

Panel Discussion: The legacy of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and it's relevance in 2023 for Africans Worldwide.

DAY 14: Free Day
FRIDAY, JULY 14TH
Free Day for shopping and experience of the night life in Accra.

DAY 15: Departure to the USA
SATURDAY, JULY 15TH
We will be returning back to America after an eventful trip!
